Join our Emerging Markets sales-trading team which is a part of the overall EMEA Cash Equities business. Our team is responsible for providing cash execution services to JPMorgan's global client base trading EMEA Emerging Markets.

Job responsibilities

You will be joining our broader EMEA Cash Equities sales-trading team as Executive Director, sitting within the South African sales trading team. Specially, you'll have the chance to:

  • Proactively collaborate with the local South African team and CEEMEA execution team based in London
  • You will help define and execute the strategy for providing execution services in South Africa
  • You will manage the cost of executing principal business in conjunction with the trading team, the management team and clients
  • You will build and maintain relationships with JP Morgan's global clients active in South Africa

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • You bringsignificant demonstrable experience covering emerging markets
  • You demonstrate experience working in a similar sales trading team
  • You are proud of existing client relationships
  • You bring collaborative approach to work with the wider Cash Equities team and Global Sales and Research team
  • You are proud of your impeccable work ethic and entrepreneurial business building skillset
  • You are a passionate leader with great managerial, multitasking and collaboration skills
  • Your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, can engage and influence partners and stakeholders: you can communicate concepts and ideas with influence, also via documentation, and you are keen to defend their validity and tailor messages to different audience
